In London’s bustling high street, a bus driver fell victim to a stabbing incident. Yesterday (June 18) at approximately 3:30 p.m., the police received a distress call regarding the incident, which took place at the junction of Commercial Road and Arbour Square in Stepney, east London.

Fortunately, the victim, a man in his 40s, sustained a stab wound to his back, which has been determined to be non-life-threatening and without long-term consequences.
Prompted by the seriousness of the situation, the Metropolitan Police has initiated a thorough investigation into the incident.
A statement said: “Police were called at 15:29hrs on Sunday, 18 June to reports of a stabbing in Commercial Road, near to the junction with Arbour Square, E14.
“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.
“A man was found with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing. An investigation is under way and enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests.
“Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 4546/18Jun.”
