On Monday the Pentagon declassified three videos of US navy pilots encountering what appear to be a UFO
The supposed UFO sightings are grainy videos, that the Pentagon say shows an “unexplained aerial phenomena”, had previously been leaked, with some believing they show alien UFOs.
Two were published by the New York Times, while the third was leaked by an organisation co-founded by former Blink-182 singer Tom DeLonge.
The Pentagon said that they declassified the footage to “to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real or whether or not there is more to the videos”,
Last June, Donald said he had been briefed on sightings of unidentified aircraft by US navy pilots.
Trump said to ABC News:
“I think it’s probably – I want them to think whatever they think,”
“They do say, and I’ve seen, and I’ve read, and I’ve heard. And I did have one very brief meeting on it. But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particular.”
This was at an earlier press conference in Trump’s Presidential career, long before the COVID-19 pandemic had caused much more memorable moments from the President’s press briefings.
The three pilot training flight videos, from 2004 and 2015, show what the pilots would have seen from their aircrafts. Two of these videos were published by the New York Times in 2017.
The third video was released by the To the Stars Academy of Arts and Science group, a media and private science organization that was a company co-founded by Tom DeLonge of Blink-182.
According to the New York Times the video from 2004 shows an incident that happened 100 miles out over the Pacific Ocean, where Two navy fighter pilots found an oblong object hovering above the water, that then quickly flew away.
The 2015 videos show objects moving quickly through the sky, one of them seeming to spin in the air. “Look at that thing, dude!” a pilot says. “It’s rotating!”
After much speculation for years from conspiracy theorists and UFO fanatics, in 2017, the Pentagon did finally admit that it had a programme that was set up to investigate alleged UFOs, although they have said that it has now been terminated.
The navy has certain guidelines for reporting UFO sightings. The official declassification and release of these three videos by the Pentagon adds legitimacy to the videos and will spur more speculation that earth has been visited repeatedly by extraterrestrials.
