Singer Anne-Marie Launching New Fashion Company

Not only does Anne-Marie have huge hits in the charts, but she’s also set to dominate the fashion world with her new brand QOTM Clothing.

Last year, singer Anne-Marie amassed profits of £1.7 million according to The Sun and is set to diversify her music career by taking a leap into the fashion world.

Yesterday (30 April), it was reported that she has registered the name QOTM Clothing and is set to launch a fashion company that represents every woman.

A source speaking to newspaper, said: “She knows she represents normal girls with her music so a clothing company for real women could be really successful.

“So much of the fashion industry is targeted at stick-thin models, but her fans aren’t always like that, so making clothes to suit everyone would be wonderful.”

It is also said that the singer is hoping to have a website and start stocking in stores, but it is early days.

Last year Anne-Marie also set up Miss AM Properties. It is suggested that she will also dip into the property market and invest her money, similar to Ed Sheeran.

If that’s not enough to keep her busy, Anne-Marie is also working on her second studio album.

The pressures of social media

Despite her public persona, the singer has previously admitted she will delete videos and photographs of herself if she receives negative or abusive messages from trolls.

She said: “I feel like I’m really lucky in the way that I rarely get bad things, or see bad comments or anything like that. I feel like my followers know that I suffer with anxiety and all that stuff, so they’re really nice, but every now and again, you get an odd one, and I remove pictures because of it and videos that I post. Like I posted one the other day, and I was in my bikini because I was on holiday, and I got loads of bad comments. I was, like, I just need to delete it.

“I deleted it because it really affects me, the comments.”

She also offers her followers advice on dealing with trolls, saying: “I try and tell people all the time, just delete it and move on, which I do. I do delete them and I do block people … but it’s because I just felt like I couldn’t deal with it at that moment. There can be times where I feel super-confident, and I can read loads of bad comments and be like, whatever I look great, and then sometimes I’m just not feeling great, and I’m, like, I’d rather not have to deal with that and just get rid of it. It really depends on how I’m feeling and you’re always going to get someone that says something.”

Anne-Marie is, of course, not the only singer to have stepped into the fashion world. Most notably, Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has made a name for herself in the luxury fashion sector despite a recent downturn in her business due to the pandemic.
