Those working from home have had their work disrupted as Virgin Media internet has gone down across the country
Thousands of Virgin Media customers are struggling to access the internet.
The telecoms firm appears to be suffering from outages across the UK, leaving customers unable to work from home.
Areas including Birmingham, Nottingham and London are experiencing issues according to Downdetector.
The outage began shortly around 5.45pm and are believed to be ongoing.
Virgin Media have confirmed that they are looking into the issue.

The telecoms firm has been tweeting some customers to apologise and says its aware of “technical issues” affecting some customers.
Virgin Media isn’t alone in experiencing technical issues while the COVID-19 pandemic is ongoing, as internet providers, banks and mobile firms regularly suffer from outages.
This news comes after another branch of Virgin, Virgin Money has had problems of its own, after coming under fire in regards to them taking an admin fee for donations to the NHS.
Sir Richard’s airlines have been hit particularly hard by the coronavirus pandemic and are asking for state aid, seeking a commercial loan, believed to be £500m.
In an open letter to staff, Sir Richard said:
“Many airlines around the world need government support and many have already received it.”
