Right after we broke the news regarding Boris Johnson’s confirmed contraction of the coronavirus, Matt Hancock has tested positive for coronavirus, Breaking News Today can report.
The pair, part of the countries Covid-19 response, have BOTH been confirmed to have the virus TODAY.
They have both reported mild symptoms; however, they are continuing to work from their homes.
Mr Johnson, after admitting to experiencing ‘mild symptoms’, including high temperature and persistent cough, said that he would still be able to lead the ‘national fightback’ against the virus from his flat above No. 11
“Fortunately for me, the symptoms so far have been very mild, so I’ve been able to carry on with the work of driving forward the UK response “.

Mr Johnson & Mr Hancock have been working closely with top medics in England; they include chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty, deputy chief medical officer Dr Jenny Harries as well as chief scientific advisor Sir Patrick Vallance.
As yet, we do not know whether they have also been tested, although Downing Street has confirmed that advice and guidelines on social distancing had been observed in Number 10.
