563 more people have died from COVID-19 in UK

The total number of deaths in the UK due to the coronavirus have now risen to 2,352, as 563 have died in the last 24 hours

Another 563 people have died in the UK after testing positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,352.

The increase is the largest since the first COVID-19 cases were recorded in the UK, at the end of January.

This news comes after it was announced yesterday that 393 more people had died, rising the total number of deaths to 1,808.

In Wales, 29 more people have died, with the country’s total now at 98.

As of 9 am today, The Department of Health said that, a total of 152,979 people have been tested of whom 29,474 tested positive.
